How Waste-to-Energy Gasification Works

The Process

From Waste Feedstock to Usable Energy

1. Feedstock Preparation

Municipal, agro or industrial waste is sorted and prepared to the moisture and size specification the gasifier requires.

2. Gasification

The prepared feedstock is thermochemically converted at controlled temperature with limited oxygen, producing a combustible syngas.

3. Gas Cleaning & Conditioning

The raw syngas is cleaned and conditioned to meet the requirements of downstream power or heat-generation equipment.

4. Energy Generation

The conditioned syngas is used to generate electrical power or thermal energy, depending on the plant's configuration.

5. Residue Management

Any residual by-product is managed in line with environmental compliance requirements.
